got my 03 black leon cupra r early feb and swore to my wife i wouldnt spend anymore money modding it. but i couldnt do it, the temptation is too much. ive started small so she wont mind, changed the aerial, changed the stereo and fitted the glovebox sleeve and ive got a fabia rear wiper on its way. now ive got the taste and my wife isnt happy. but sod it, im gonna enjoy this. whats the best start to make on the engine, exhaust etc? im eyeing up a new panel filter (either green cotton or piperx) as a start but want to get fired in on bigger and better things.

Definately change to a forge 007p dump valve first!!!! the best 80 odd quid you will ever spend!!! get a pipercross panel filter and a boost gauge this is all i did and its soooooooo much better. You can get a S3 upper strut brace.

Also a common thing to do and looks alot better is the mk 4 golf arms and wiper upgrade. Good choice on rear wiper too

n249 bypass is a good little mod and costs next to nothing.↲
If your goin for more mods later 007dv wud be good bet as standard one is prone to failing as you increase boost!

funnily enough thats exactly what i told her an hour ago. im not sure she believes me though, but ive got my uncle on my side whos just chipped his merc diesel for better mpg and was telling her so i might just get away with it. shes scared shitless of driving it like it is so if i told her it was gonna be faster she wouldnt wanna go near it. which is a bonus...

LOL, my Missus thinks I'm having a mis-life crisis. If she knew about half the money I've spent over the last 12 months I'd be adding new lights to the list . If you don't want to spend too much money the best thing you can do is stay away from this site.
