also not sure if im panicin but in 6th when coming on and off the throttle while holding the gear stick
i can feel a slight knock / rocking type movement on the gear stick

only in 6th though

mark i also forgot that bike stand .. i will have it so tell him not to throw it out :)
Happen if your labouring the engine? What speed we talking about here?

Also you should be in 5th doing 30-40 mph, you will kill your clutch.

yes i know i know tut tut ,, not in the habit of doing it was curious  of seeing what the boost was at minimum etc and if i could drive without being on boost all the time ,

normally dont drive hard below 2000rpm , etc

looking back to when i first bought the car , the clutch started riding when i was booting from Go

but since reading loads of threads here , i realised the torque was too high for std clutches , so addapted my driving style

and nearly 3 years later and nearly 35,000 miles more shes still driving strong ( in that department  )

amm thinking when i drive to cornwall in april , should i disconnect the maf and see what mpg i get , does driving it disconnected create problems , appart from no boost

yes have the free version , but i have been using a a freinds one from his work /garage which is the genuine one ,

with maf disconnected , the car seems pretty responsive/smooth during acceleration , but wont go above 60mph , once connected back up u know the turbo works

have full tanked it to see what i can achieve fuel wise , , so far ist early 30's and miles til empty suggests about 350 miles

turns out you cant buy gaskets for the outer side of the pump , only the inner part (kidney & figure of 8 shaped gaskets , i need the one where mark has posted

also need time to research where the relay is for the glow plug harness , as that is where i need to check next
