Hi,

I'm trying to work out if I can add LED DRLs to my 2009 Exeo ST (it has the bi-xenon lights) without too much bother.

I've seen that HIDS-Direct have two possible LEDs I could use (sorry had to tweak the link as I'm new here):
w w w.hids-direct.co.uk/categories/error-free-leds/382-p21w

Has anyone used the new Cree ones? I see they are 6000K which may mean they're too blue/white for a good match. Am I better off with the 27 SMD type? I think a few people here have used them

Second question: I see that you can buy "plug and play" resistors to eliminate errors:
w w w.hids-direct.co.uk/obc-resistor-fix-leads-for-p21w-382-led/

Has anyone used these?

Ah thanks for pointing that out. So I will use the other type in that case.

If anyone knows about that resistor I'm keen to hear what you think.

Thanks in advance.

I'll have a chat with hids direct to see if they know what the resistance is.

Where are you planning on mounting the 382 LED bulbs, as 382 bulbs are usually for rear/reverse lights? Why don't you buy some proper LED DRL light units, I am sure they will fit somewhere under the bumper.

I fitted these on my disco and they are very good.
