any one fitted forge fmic to fr 20vt

i know people are saying its small ive seen the seat one and the part where it is larger isnt where there is any are flow on the standard bumpers! so it might be bigger the seat one but i dont know if its gonna get more air flow? just my though maybe wrong!

I cannot find the size of the Forge FMIC so i cannot compare that but the core size determines how much air flow you can have. Less airflow = less air into the engine = less power able to produce.

tbh i dont know any of the dimentions of either intercooler the price im getting forge on for isnt much more that the seat one so im not spending much more i will have to see how i get on with it but i dont have anything to compair it to so i think i will be happy as its going to be far better than smic with is what i want!

ive had a look at both pics of the forge and seat fmic and the seat one is slightly higher but in the area that dosnt get any air flow to me they dont look much different in size thses are the pics

i have the seat FMIC (thats my car above) and the top part still gets cold air due to the seat center badge. it also looks great behind the bumbers.

they work great in the summer, i bought ANT's old intercooler and it was dead easy to fit even for a complete novice like me.

i have sen the pic of the forge one as well and that is vissible through the s grill as well so i think ill put some pics up of the one i fit then other people can see the difference!

hey was just pointing out that somoe said you get air flow through the top grill on the seat one! just comparing the two thats all!

fitted the fmic todat very easy and gives great results pulls like never before and also sound is better would recomend it any day of the week!
