Happens to me when giving it beans then changing at 4k frm 3d-4th car is remapped and only started doing it since remap
I got my cupra tdi custom mapped about 3 weeks and it does the exact same thing.
Giving it the beans in 3rd, changing at 4k rpm, there is a slight hesitation in 4th at about 3k (where the gear change leaves it) before it picks up and accelerates again.
Anyone else get this, know a solution? (spoke to the mapper, he's gonna take a look, but was surprised, because the power graphs were lovely & it revs smoothly and powerfully the rest off the time)
Do you think it's the map mate? I have the exact same thing but im going to custom code tomorow to get the dpf removal remap. I got mine done at angel tuning. What about you?
mine did this, turned out to be turbo veins sticking. yours may be the same. there two solutions. you can either buy something like 10k boost which you spray down the intake or do what i did is a bit tedious and thats to take the turbo off and clean everything up. only take the turbo off if you have patience
I've no idea, seems very odd. The rolling road showed that it was going very nicely but post gearchange it consistently hesitates before pulling smoothly.
I have mine done at torque tronix whilst on a hub dyno, for an accurate performance measurement.
Very interesting, can you buy it in halfords, or is it a specialist thing? Does it clean them? or what's the effect?
yeah somewhere like halfords will sell it. as far as i know after reading on here it cleans the components of the turbo
