Not happy! had to change the wheel on the side of the road at midnight in Wandsworth highstreet

put the keys on a keyring. Put keyring in pocket. Jobs a good'un ;)

Then theres less chance of losing them cos they make such a racket when they hit the floor!

Bugger, that’s not good :(

Closest thing I’ve had like that was a few years back was driving along and heard a clanking sound, realised it was from one of the tyres, I pulled over then ran my hand around the tread, found a bloody Stanley blade stuck in there, luckily it hadn’t gone in on the point and was flat against the tread, tyre was fine just I nearly lost a finger in the process of finding out. :blink:

reminds me of the urban myth of the copper that ran his hands over someones tyres he had stopped,wasn't too happy when he cut his hand on the wire banding protrduing from the tyre.

zorba,why not see if you can get it repaired and use it as a spare? should be ok,if only repaired once.

TBH......i think i would be a bit scared ot even trying to repair it and us it again.
