I think this is one i was going to buy late last year to have the bits for mine

Think it was running badly and for sale at 3000 at the time which seemed too cheap for the spec listed and the only problem being a lambda sensor

yes i agree , it got passed through a few hands after cupra_red had it then one boy got it fixed spent a fair few on it then was asking 6800

i sold it to a lad up in north wales, it was the quickest thing id ever drove!!

owed me 16,000 in just bits that car lol wish id kept it tbh

it run mint when i sold it, thing is i had people wanting the car who had no idea what was done to the car they wanted it puerly down to the fact i advertised it as a "Evo fq 400 killer"

it ran bad due to the fact the lad put the wrong plugs in the car and it had a dead coil pack from what i could make out over the phone to him.

£6800 is cheap!! i got £7200 for it

this car had alot more things wrong with it than your saying, it was very poorly when i went to see it as i was intrested in buying it , seem to good to be true, if you think 6800 was ceap the car actually sold for 3500 in the end

thats a hell of a lot of car for 3500 breaking that car you could make 6k i recon or close to it

Its sold in the end as a non runner, something todo with crank ect, yeah that was what I was guna do keep bits I wanted and break the rest, oh well onwards and upwards

im on about the kid i sold it to, he fitted wrong plugs and it had a dead coil pack, hence running like a bag of poo!

it then come back down my way to a lad i kind of know he come to see me about fixing it, but i took one look at it and said that aint the forged engine i built!!


so someone had taken the motor out of it and fitted it with a different motor, reson i know is i fitted a bam 225 engine and forged the lot! last time i saw it, it had a ayp lump fitted!!

Thought you bought it already built from a kid from army who sadly past away then past on to is uncle then you had it, yeah I agree this car has had a lot changed , its not the same car anymore I think your right there, anyway bud welcome back,

i did but i done the engine in!! was a standard engine with just rods when i boutgh it with all the turbo goodies.
i pulled that motor out and put in a bam lump with the forged rods from old engine as pistons are mahle forged in the bam lumps, bought tidy cooler, diff, mapping, repaint whole car,
then had the head all skimmed and cleaned and had supertechs fitted,spent a small fortune! all that has gone someone pulled that lump out, maybe they broke it?? how i dont know? or someone bought the car cheap pulled lump out to keep aside and tried selling as being forged ?? either way its been thro every man and his dog now

nah my mate did went with him to get it, then it was overfuelling bad with him, so then it went back down to swansea then i brought for around the 3k mark running fine again kept it for a month or so and sold it on

ye was reading the thread, when i tried selling the gt30 he tried telling everyone that it was ****ed and it was a standard engine and on a gt28 etc lol
