Anyone removed a Toledo Front Bumper

Hi All,

Just had my radiator replaced on my Toledo which involved dismantling the whole front end of the car..

While washing it this morning, I have noticed that the garage didn't quite get the bumper on quite right, it sticks out where it wraps round and joins the front wings on both sides. Maybe it hasn't engaged with a clip correctly or something ?

Does anyone know if this can be adjusted or would the bumper have to come off again and be completly re-fitted ?

Also, the bonnet is fairly difficult to close now, and again sits lower than the wings, so I guess the panel it closes onto has also been removed and has not been re-fitted in quite the same place.

I could ask the garage to take a look, but thought if things could simply be loosened off and adjusted then I would take a look myself and save the hassle of returning it?

Sorry, should of said, it is the MK2 Toledo TDI SE of 2002 Vintage, it is the Leon-a-like one that you mention.

basically torx bolts all round, and undo the wheel arch liner to get access round there.

remove the 'nuts' that secure the bumper guide rather than removing the bumper 'round' the headlamps & then trying to bend it back into place (10mm nuts)

awkward, but straightforward
