As above, the little rubber spacer on mine has ripped and causes the squished pipe to knock on the steering every so often, im thinking about replacing the last bit of std piping in my system (forge fmic silicone does away with most std piping.)
Looking at the space im convinced there is enough room for a round silicon pipe. (forge i'll forward my car as test fitting if you dont ind postage!!) :D
Has anyone else tried this yet?

If a wheel catches that it's not going to be nice, let alone if it chews a hole thru a silicon one.

when i was under the car last week it looked like there was plenty of room though, if it needs to be round metal then fair enough, the flat one just says restriction to me.
