minimum wage is irrelevant, do you really think yanks living on minimum wage can afford to be out modding cars?

thats not the market these parts are aimed at!

It wasn't the modding market I was commenting on, I was talking about the price of the car.

The domestic median wage in the US is still much lower than ours, that's the majority of people.

In the end, it all comes down to what people can and will pay for. They can't afford to pay our kinds of price on a car when a domestic american car will retail for seriously less :)

Hi,

I'm Jav on Turborevs, we noticed a lot of questions regarding our intercooler kit so thought we'd put up a post on the board. Basically we sold this intercooler kit as fitting on VAG 1.8T engines and have been doing them for approx. 2 months now (currently sold out and waiting for new stock). The kit has proved to be very popular, I know a lot of people from this board have email us asking whether it will fit on the Cupra R, we are unable to say 100% it will as although we have sold a lot of thes kits being a mail order business we dont know what cars out customers are installing these kits on.

I've posted more detailed pics of the kit on our site (see the link below):

In order to see if the kit will fit the Cupra R, we are willing to offer one member from this forum the kit at a discount price and we will supply and fit the kit, if the kit cannot fit then you dont need to pay anything, if it does fit then you will need to pay for the fitting cost plus the kit (at a discounted price).

We expect to have our kit in stock first week of December if anyone is interested please let us know. Please note this offer is only open to one member so you if there are a few of you who are interested you may want to agree amongst yourselves who will try out the kit first.

thanks

What makes you say that?
The only thing that makes easier for an R rather than a normal cupra is the fact that the inlet/outlet are at the oppostie sides which is easier for the cupra R due to the twin SMIC pipework originally installed. It looks about 1/3 of the size of the Forge one and 1/4 of PA one
This could be fitted to a cupra but as said it involves running the outlet back to the same side as the inlet which would involve running over the front of the radiator, not a great idea but could be done

Just been reading though this thread and am now having to look for a FMIC at a good price as I was not going to get one as i am happy with the way my LC pulls
But after yesterdays trackday and running with the vagcom while on track I was seing high 70's in the inlet temps
So has anyone gone ahead and bought one?
