the thing is forge are able to prove that their FMIC does work where most companies that offer a cheaper option are not willing to put their neck on the line as they can not prove it

Some aren't willing to put a landline phone number or a physical address on their website. ;) (It doesn't inspire confidence, does it?)

What ever way you decide to justify Forge's price's, the exchange rate still makes it half the price to buy it from the USA, and if this other product isn't quite as good, you could stil buy 2 and have enough change to fabricate your own pipework to make it work, and save cash at the same time.
Sorry, but i think it's a joke expecting someone thousands of miles away to pay less even after you've payed to get it there. So what if a car cost's X amount over there.

But surely if the price is £XX over there from a UK company, it should be the same here. So what if we pay VAT, just add 17.5% instead of 100%

stuff this, im gonna have a go at making my own for my LC, cos it seems that the biggest issue with the price of the these intercoolers is the pipework ( i know that there has been alot of development and testing gone ito the forge one and others before i get shouted at lol, but the LC doesnt need that much complicated pipework and there are a loads of companies out there producing hoses im gonna have a bash at it. All i want now are the dimensions of someones (pretty please) so i can order the intercooler and have a go. Even after reading everyones opinions, i still cant understand how all these companies can charge so much for an intercooler.
I will never have 800 quid to throw at one and i know im going to have people saying that im risking damage to my car but im going to do some decent research into it before trying (think il use a fairy bottle and a few 2 inch plastic bends for the pipework  lol, oh yea almost forgot about the selotape then;)). So if anyone has the dimensions of the forge one il see what i can come up with.
Im trying to modify my missus aswell as my car for gods sake and she needs the £800 more than me lol. She will kill me if she ever reads that :lol::censored:
