Im thinking about getting it, but says it can handle up 600bhp, but ona standard turbo +remap, got a feeling there will be a pressure drop.

well id say that there is not much chance of it fitting the LC without some work cos all the pipework is on the left hand side (when you look at the front of the car) as there is only one intercooler on the LC and 2 on the LCR. Id be interested and would take the chance if i had a LCR but not up for trying to root that pipe to otherside on my LC. Saying that im a little suprized that is aint designed for the Golf cos the market is far bigger than the leon and they only have one intercooler aswell (educated guess cos the 1.8t are 150 bhp and 180bhp for the anniversary)

It's unwise to pay too much, but it's unwise to pay too little.

When you pay too much you lose a little money, that's is all.

When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything,

because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing

you bought it to do. The common law of business balance

prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. It can't be done.

If you deal with the lower pricing seller, it's well to add something

for the risk you run. And if you do that, you will have enough

to pay for a better service and product

Don't get me wrong your products are quality and I have a few Forge items on my LCR however it's a little unjust when US customers get a nice twintercooler for approx £450 and we have to pay £800 for the same product. It would be cheaper to buy from a US source or even ship one over and ship back at that cost. How come we get stung on the prices even without the VAT there is a big difference. :(. No wonder some people are forced to try out cheaper alternatives.

damn that is a good price , i thought that the leon one had to have both entry and exit coming out of the same side of the intercooler:confused:

the inlet manifold and pipework are different on leon cupra compared to cupra R.

for leon cupra. (not R) the inlet and outlet need to be on the offside of the intercooler.

For the leon cupra R the inlet and outlet would be on opposite sides. (outlet nearside).

I was going to put the blueflame exchaust system on, at the end of next month. But for that price and if it works - well ill change my plans and get one ordered :)
