Anyone tried their CG lock on the track?

As above
I bought two of these and fitted it straight away, on spirited drives it is definately noticable that you don't slide about so much therefore giving you more confidence going into corners faster and with more controll
Has anyone done laps of a track twith one of these fitted then removed it to see if they get better times?
I now have 6 of these
One for the four seat belts in the car and one for two of my mates
Great piece of kit, wouldn't go on a spirited drive without it now:D

you can replicate that effect with a standard belt ?

if i need to be in tight i move the upper seat part back a touch - pull the belt tight to a lock - move seat back

takes a bit of practice but works fine

race harness tight for me is almost not breathing :p:p

It works fine until the tension comes off during acceleration, then you end up in the passenger seat on the next bend!! :)

Just don't think about this method ... highly dangerous!! The CG-Lock has over 20 ARDS instructor professionals saying that if you dont have a harness, a CG-Lock is a no brainer... also it helps eliminate any back ache in day-to-day driving too... and great for tethering the kids easily in their child restraints!!

cheers

I have used one at Brands It did hold you better then the normal belt

But due to the fact I am a big guy the top of my body was sliding all over the place but as most of you wont be on track its just what you need for fast day to day driving

You can't beat a harness!
I have driver and passenger harnesses from Schroth.
They use standard seat belt mounts and clips so easily installed.
Very easy so swap in and out for a spirited drive or track day...all of 10seconds.

Glad to see Tris likes 'em.

Mine harnesses and pads are black with yellow logo for driver and silver logo for passenger. Means I spot the difference more easily when I grab them our of the boot. Plus I just love Yellow & Black. Can you tell?
