anyone tried to fit 235/45/17 on their cupra with 17x8j rims et35?

i got some lightweight wheels in 17x8j et 35 and was wondering if a 235/45/17 tyre would fit without rubbing.

You would need 235/40 to keep near to the correct rolling circumference. ET35 may cause rubbing?

i dont really care about circumference. its minimal. had 225/45/18 on it before also.
well bought some tyres so will try to fit in couple days

The difference between 235/45/17 and the correct 225/45/17 is only 1.4%.
You may not care if you fit a non-standard tyre size but your insurance company will.
