Ap coilovers

Anyone got these or know any info on them? Iv been offered a second hand set for £300 and just wondering if they are worth it or not?

Made in the same factory as kw. I had them on a mk5 golf gti and they were really good for handling and comfort. I'd say that's a good buy imo

iv got them on mine and they make the car handle really well, mine are wound right down and the ride is firm but comfortble. easy to adjust too

I've got aps on mine as well and it handles really well and real nice drive defo worth having. But u can get them new for £400 ish

Seen em for 500 odd on the Internet on a bit of a budget to be honest was goin for just springs but thought for 300 quid there pretty cheap? Just trying to get some pics of them.

Awesomegti have an overstock shop on ebay called partsbucket and they have ap coilovers for the mk1 leon for £385

Seems to be two strut diameters, this is one

Don't kno there from a cupra r that's being broken for spares. I think they have bought it just to break it? I'd imagine that they would of been renewed when they were fitted but guessing I'd never kno?

I run AP's. Great coilovers, no complaints in almost 3 years now and did well on track last year too.

I wouldn't pay more than £250 for those maybe a bit less.

Get new top mounts fitted when you get the coilovers fitted. They do go, so budget for this also bud.

Ok cool cheers. What are they like on the road? My shocks have done nearly 80k so I they are starting to labour abit now that's why I was looking at coilovers.

Good. I don't find them harsh but they're firmer than standard for sure

Do it. They're quality coilies for the money.
