Funny you should say that cause YES its a pain in the ass, gonna change it for a red one if i can find one, It lights the inside of the car up.

So what have you done with the n75, just left it dangling?

N75 is still plugged in but not plumbed in any more, just hidden out the way.


Those switches look better, the savage looks good cause its a push 'on' release 'off' type where as the other is on/off.

Would be interesting to see how long before the ecu decides to have a tantrum about the boost.

Why would the ecu take a tantrum? Its requesting 1.3 BAR and getting 1.3 BAR except in 1st gear where it doesn't have enough chance to build that anyway.

I thought you could up the boost then lower it in certain gears / revs etc...

You can, you cant up the boost more than you have got though obviously, its really for limiting boost in certain gears etc ...... better traction etc .... from what i have read anyway

You can do what ever you want with the boost. Just depends on what your turbo can do and what the fuelling is set to cope with. I had mine running 1.6 BAR yesterday but it was alot slower.

With the AVC R you could probably get it holding higher up the revs aswell.

Boost above what its mapped for would put a over boost fault in the memory then limp mode

think i'll wait until i get a bigger turbo before going any further. Jim isn't keen on raising the boost on a ko3s any higher 16-17psi. Ah well never mind. BT soon though

Think am goina have intercooler fitted for 1st and remove n75 n try break into 14's lol

If you remove the N75 you go into limp mode. Mine did anyway.
