I find siri just as dumb as the voice control in the car so I'm happy to use neither

At least Siri understands my Scottish accent! I can't get the Leon to do anything other than dial my last used number, it's completely hopeless.

By the way, are you meant to be able to control the radio with voice control or is it just the phone functions?

VW will be producing cars with head units that support Apple Carplay and Android Auto this year. Hopefully this means they'll end up in Seat's cars too

No doubt they'll premium options though since it's effectively negating the need for the end user to purchase a navigation upgrade from the manufacturer

VW signed upto both Apple and Google where as SEAT only signed up to Google from what I can see on the web.
