have a ractive boost gauge and the needle seems to have dropped to about 3-4 under the zero...(when keys are out)

are these gauges sealed and is there a way to fix em? thanks

obviously all the workings are sealed. but i wouldn't think the visible part, between the face and the clear plastic would be pressurised, so you may be able to remove the needle and reposition it.

Most gauges will be a bourdon gauge
This consists of a curved copper tube the air runs into, as pressure increases it straightens and is attached to the needle via gearing to display it.
If the face has moved it could be re aligned to suit
But if it exposed to very quick high spike readings it maybe damaged, or age dependant the copper pipe could be fatigued due to cold working
Depends on the quality of the gauge as i have never heard of ractive
