Are the headlights reflector or projector? (for new HIDs)

Yes but when you click on conversion kits they only have H7listed with slim ballasts I want (not paying for them other kits with bog ballast that cost even more!). Guess I could ask, sorry what is the difference with the H7 and H7R then?

Edit I have sent them a message about H7R kits and asked is it normal for my ballast to fail after 2 and a bit years, must dig out the receipt of when I bought them really.

Oh I see.

H7R`s have a section (about half) of the bulb blacked out, so that the light is only allowed to reflect off the top part of the headlight keeping the light pattern lower to the ground; this reduces glare to other drivers.

They are a copy of the D2R bulb used in oem xenons with reflector headlights, like the renault laguna.
