Do many of you guys have them? Thinking of getting one but want to know what people think. I know they fold up, but do they still get in the way when using the handbrake? And where's the best place to get one from? They seem quite expensive...

Thanks :)

I got an armster just before xmas and I think its great. The storage space is handy and its pretty comfy. I dont fold mine up. You can get to the handbrake easily enough. The only thing I had to do was asjust my handbrake cables. It had been needing done for a while but the handle was hitting the armrest before the handbrake was on.

My wife will NOT let me fit one to her Polo - and that is not fair!

One thing though, these arm rests do partially block access to the hand brake - and that is even when VAG designed them into the car, my B5 Passat has one and its great - but wife folds it up when she is driving the car because she can not reach the hand brake. Its needed for placing your arm on while you plan your next move!

i just installed one before christmas, they do block access to the handbreak slightly, but its ok once you get used to it, i have no problem with it, i bought mine from gbdriver, had 10% off, so cost about £70, will take some pictures tomorrow

Armster one is awesome, had mine about 6 months, really good, the extendable top is bloody useful. one of the first mods i did as i was turning my car into a little cruiser, still one of my favorite mods to date. got my from car style bits and it cost me £79, but it was worth every penny

Cheers guys, so looking at £80 ish. They look good though, like they've always been there! Did a 4 hour drive the other day and could of done with an armrest.
