At last!, i can drive my car!!!!

I dont suppose its really a mk4 ibiza related post, but this is the only part i have introduced myself to!

My 06 plate 1.4 16v sport stretched its legs today!, passed my driving test this morning!!!! (well, i suppose it was yesterday morning now )

Passed with 1 minor, so was really pleased with that, it was just for observation on a blind junction! Did a left reverse, parallel park and the emergency stop.

So chuffed!! Will never be at home now!

Just thought i would share my happiness!

I remember when I passed my test 18 years ago

I rode my bike home from the test centre, ripped the L plates off of my (cortina), and promptly did a tank full of fuel

when I aventually got home my mum was furious cos she thought I'd been out driving on my own

I didn't tell her about my test in case I failed

these days I'm trying to reduce my driving as I'm doing about 50k a year for work, the only good thing about it is that I get paid for hooting about in a company car without a care for tyres or fuel....

Passed my test 3.5 years ago now and have done prob 45k miles lol

2000 in first 2 months of my new car

Well done mate after 5 driving tests I know that feeling all too well.

I didn't fail my car test 3 times before anyone says anything, I took my tractor test at 16, car at 17, HGV II at 21 and then HGV I (twice coz I failed the first time )

Thanks for all the kind comments si-mate, i did my tractor test at 16 aswell. Best way to get around at 16 i say! tractors just ooze class

It was one of the hardest tests I ever did. I got the chief examiner.

He made me do a hill start using the hand brake, turn right onto a busy A road which I sat at for 5 minutes and asked me 10 mins worth of highway code questions which weren't relevant to a tractor anyway!
Whole test lasted 45 minutes when friends who had taken it barely took 20.

I failed my car test 3 times. It's a confidence thing though. My instructor regularly criticised me in the lesson before my test, meaning I was a bag of nerves when the time came and I made basic errors. I reckon he was just after more cash from me......

Both me and my girlfriend passed on our fourth tests, doesnt make us bad drivers, was just sh***ng kittens because its such an important and expensive thing these days. Neither of us have any points/claims/fines to our names.
