Did Mallory Park this week.
Amazing day with 3 GR Yaris beasties and the CRX too.
Took a Yaris out in the damp and took the p@@@ out of everything out on track. Just crazy.
The Cupra was outstanding and held up well against the Toyotas in he dry. I was gobsmacked tbh.
I did kill my tyres hanging with 5em and once shredded I had a big moment and called it a day.
Not bad for a near 20 year old car!

There are links to some laps and fun with other cars.
For some reason it didn’t like my editing so they unedited and are from the pits and takes a lap to warm up.
I’m not looking for hits or likes.
Just if you’re into it then it’s available. I Only stick them on there so all of my trackday mates can see their cars. And I can look back and smile.
Part 1 and 2 lead strait into each other. Just the GoPro broke them up. Sorry.

M8, I'm properly impressed with your driving!! Considering how much the GR Yaris's (what's the plurel for a Yaris :D ) cost vs what you've spent on yours and it still has the interior in it (and how clean yours is too!).

Also, see your loving the LSD there :) . What tyres you running nowadays, was putting them through their paces!

Ddi you know the GR Yaris boys?

So want to get out on track but getting mine going is taking soo long...

Yaris’s I think would be plural but who knows.
Yeah. My tyres were mullered before I got there sadly. Those vids are late in the day when I felt grip really reduced. Pic below shows why.

Yeah one of the Yaris crew is a lifelong pal. So is CRX
Orher Yaris guys are all mates too so we all went up the night before. For a laugh.
LSD makes a world of difference eh!!

Yeah. Love it.
Best bit as an angler was finding a lake in the middle of the track. Like going to heaven for the day.

A decent cafe as well and Gerrards is immense.
Btw, how many different lines did you take around the hairpin:think:

Took a few to work out the camber holding you in at the hairpin.
Gerrards is mental. Fast entry speed if you’ve got a big setManaged to carry 90 round it. LSD on overtime!

90/95 is about my exit speed when the stars align. Entry middle of the track, turn and hold, then feed the ponies in for the apex right over the other side.
I find deep on entry and a cars width from the barrier is about right for hairpin with a late apex.
Simple track to learn, nice surface, but hard to master with so many different lines of attack to have a go at.
Love the place
