Yes they add more camber. I also got some SuperPro bushes for the control arm that increase caster.

Nice.
Yup bushing for added castor is a great mod. I have Whiteline versions. Gives superior turn in and exit.

Do you think I will need extra fuel, its a full track day.

We usually try and find a Shell V power nr the track and hit it during the lunch break.
We add octane booster to that too. Or you can take a can but we usually are low by lunch if we haven’t filled up locally on arrival.
Some tracks do fuel on site but it’s not v power and can be more expensive.
Have you done brake pads?
Mate ran standard pads on his 300 with me at Brands and they held up pretty well but I’d recommend an upgrade and decent racing fluid too.

I'm going to get brakes, hopefully today or tomorrow.
I've heard that octane boosters aren't that good, but not sure myself.
I was wondering whether I should take a Jerry can so I can have V Power with me.

******TRACK DAY*******
While I’m on,
3 of us are doing
Snetterton 300
On the 7th of November
Price is low £129
Me in my mk1 LCR, a buddy in a
300 ST and a very cool normally aspirated Honda CRX vetch from back in the day. Not the fastest out there but we hold our own.
Love to have some more SEATs there.

Buy the millers octane booster from Halfords. I’ll send a pic later of the right one.
It’s a cumulative thing that builds over about 100 miles but also can be added at double the normal dose. ( as per instructions ) for a more instant effect.
It will do 10 tanks, so not a one shot bottle.
I’d recommend it.
Side note my pal bought his 300 and within a week it was making a noise he didn’t recognise. Same noise he heard test driving another 300. ( it out him off buying it ).
I asked what fuel he was using and he said reg 95.
I added a shot to his rank raised his octane 2 points so much nearer the 98 recommended by SEAT and 2 kind of running pinging gone all running as it should.
That was good enough proof to me it works well.
Plus it Millers and they don’t make rubbish stuff.

Those Honda VTECs are rev happy. for a NA car - they are quick. of course Turbos are an unfair advantage - when comparing apples with apples!

Ooof.
Yeah only 2 hrs each way for me. We will be seeing if their camping is open for this one. Rather not drive there and back and full track day all in one hit.
I’m half broken as it is.

His has an Integrra type R engine and gearbox, skunk exhaust etc etc Sounds amazing, screams like no other but needs a bung in the exhaust on low bB circuits.
It’s still too low on torque which lets it down but its light and gets out of corners really well.
Brilliant for a 34 year old car.

What is static and dynamically?

Sent from my SM-N770F using Tapatalk

Static camber is the amount of camber angle the vehicle has at a rest, and is what gets measured when you get an alignment.

Dynamic camber is the amount of camber angle generated as the car goes around corners, when the wheels are turned.

Hope that makes sense

Makes total sense. I got 2.2 camber static (i think) so how much would that be dynamically?

It varies between the arms and the bushes. We can try and guesstimate next week.

My issue was too much static camber induces inside edge wear, tram lining and other driver phenomenon, nothing major.

I believe these arms were created to give this effect described earlier.

What this does is give a steady straight ahead drive, with all the benefits whilst cornering.
