Great shav,do you have a trip computer in your car??MFA because i have some news, the mk4 cluster is so easy to fit just the cluster and its plug and play but the audi one has 3 connectors but the golf has 2 like the leon,i dont have on board computer so iam gonna get the 2 buttons stalk and the cluster and some wires iam still asking about the details

no i dont have mfa. so your saying golf ones are easier to fit? i can get golf ones easy, but i dont like the older clusters with only half screen. i like the later ones where the screen is very big, like the r32 one.

Its not must to be R32 to get the full display screen (fis) there are golf clusters with fis like this one and btw those are fitted in leons

But i like the R32 more , i think the white dials and red pointers are better than the blue one of the normal mk4 its match better with red interiors of the leon, but in my case the problem is my car is automatic transmission so i need (P R N D 123) symbols and i think all the R32s are manual transmission so right now iam thinking in getting golf mk4 cluster and iam asking in changing its blue light with white and red ones

so just to clarify, i can fit that cool golf binnacle and have that computer all working?

i have the on board computer its a 1.9 tdi!

schweet!!!

Yes af1 , you can do it and its a piece of cake if you have the on board computer, its just plug and play ,but you will need 2 clusters one from audi a3 and one from golf mk4 as far as i know because the golf one wont fit in perfectly so you need the plastic part from the a3 and the rest from the golf mk4 and then just some wires and every thing will work, iam gonna do it but i dont think that the blue colour of the VW will match the red one of the seat so iam searching for changing the golf cluster colour to red or white

anyone have any joy with this

sorry to bring up such an old post

I don't have a Leon, but I'm considering getting one some time this year and if I do I'll be very interested in doing this,

Found a thread on seat-leon.de but it was in german and still didn't make much sense when translated with google

Heres the link if your intersted and your germans up to scratch lol

tbh im tempted to try start looking for an a3/golf cluster. My concern though is that I dont have a trip computer currently, so cant see how the DIS/FIS whatever is going to work.

Audi TT 1.8T dash in Leon?

I found a dash from TT 1.8T on a good price. It's this model with full FIS.

Is it going to fit in my car (Leon 1.8T Topsport) and is it going to be functional with all of the features?

It has 3 connectors at the back. I don't know my dash how many connectors has, but it is the newer type that shows L/H consumption and km left to go with current fuel.

Part number of TT instrument cluster is 0905-220 009X and it says Made in France.
