Enhancement Detail
-----

Steve my work colleague has taken an interesting with my car detailing and as he put his plans for a new Audi on hold he wanted his current Audi spruced up. Upon arrival his car looked like this…quite a big job at hand then. Note…the car has never been waxed or polished…ever.

With that in mind I chose the following products to tackle the job.

- Chemical Guys Orange Degreaser
- Autosmart Tardis
- Bilberry Wheel Cleaner
- Valet Pro Snow Foam
- Meguairs All Purpose Cleaner
- Super Plush drying towel
- Chemical Guys and Meguairs microfibers

Body Work
- Sonus Green clay
- Meguairs ScratchX
- Autoglym SRP

As the car was very very dirty I knew I would not have time to take the normal before and after pictures of the panel and everything else that comes with it. The process went as follows

Process

1) Snow foam the car and give everything good clean with pressure washer.
2) Clean alloy wheels with Bilberry Wheel Cleaner and Chemical Guys Degreaser.
2) Clean tyre walls and arches with Megs APC and Chemical Guys Degreaser.
3) Wash wheels with Shampoo solution and rinse wheels with pressure washer.
4) Clean plastics and rubbers with Megs APC using Swissvax brush.
5) Snow foam the car again and wash with Lusso AutoBathe.
6) Clay the body work and wheels with Green Sonus and wheels.
7) Use AutoSmart Tardis on tar marks and wipe off with microfiber.
8) Wash car again and dry with Ultra Plush drying towel.
9) Tape the car up.
10) Machine car with Autoglym Super Resin Polish.
11) Treat all plastics and rubbers.
12) Apply 2 coats of Red Mist Sealant.

Detailers Notes
- Autosmart Tardis works much better if you leave it for 2 minutes rather than 1.
- Autoglym Super Resin Polish works so much better via machine to get the best of its mild cutting abilities and its great filling capabilities.
- Red Mist took some of the fillers out of a deep scratch that SRP filled.

Big thank you to Steve for letting me detail his car!

Cheers guys.

gezmeister - G220 as MJ said. I have rotary polisher too but haven't felt the need to use it yet.

Mike - will reply soon :)

Serious improvement there, could do with doing my car like that.

Out of interest, how long did it take?
