Audi Maps in Virtual Cockpit - possible?

Hello

In the ST, I can flip the maps from the HU to the cockpit, in order to integrate the maps into the cockpit but... i find it to look dull (albeit functional).
In contrast with the MIB2 system I had in my previous car (an Audi), which looked like this:

So my question is, is it possible to swap out the MIB2STD from the Leon MK3.5, and retrofit an Audi MMI (4G or later) setup?
This, with a view of having your MK3.5 display something like this:

Perhaps the first step, would be to correctly label my thread so if you have (constructive) suggestions, lets hear it!

Probably one for @East Yorkshire Retrofits .... I was surprised when I saw in an Audi TT the central mib display didn't show the maps. They were on the virtual cockpit of the mib2 high. So to me they always intended to put the main screen on TT as the virtual cockpit... still I haven't sat in, that I gleaned from a video. Wouldn't you want the Audi one thou .

Ok so my question "Is it possible?" has been answered with "Yes", so now the 2nd part is "How"
(Or is there a thread already covering the setup/ how to?) and if so, could you link to it?

Think we are back to @East Yorkshire Retrofits if you want Audi hardware in a Seat. The cockpit image looks to be a lot clearer. That is why I was musing on the Audi TT although I think that was a Mib2 high... the MMI version of it and yes they use the common Mib2 high maps. I don't think you have the real estate of space in the cockpit but I could be wrong. Mib1 standard maps goes into Audis and Mib2 standard as well. That was / is interchangeable on common equipment but connect services wasn't.

The so called "early" connect services never came to Seat / Cupra in Mib2 form, but they did to Škoda, Audi and VW. Your 4G reference. Mib3 changed all that.

Pass on whether anyone has changed a Mib2 to Mib3. Other than that it's all early Mib2 connected services that the others had.... >>> over to our friends in East Yorkshire.

In light of what you are saying @Tell, I think I need to rework my question;
Regardless of what hardware is being used, is it possible to have an OEM setup (I'm discounting aftermarket parts such as Xtrons, Plucenter et al), that would mean 3d maps (containing 3d buildings, 3d roads) or Google maps, are displayed in the virtual Cockpit?
I have attached a picture of the current presentation, which (although functional) has pushed me back to using AA due to the dull and frankly depressing nature of it.

Probably a bit retro these days as cars come with the big panel front screens these days. I can't totally see how that one works without a touch screen. You can't be fiddling with the virtual cockpit to input things. Must be a little frustrating doing weird click button actions.

It would be true to say that nobody has had any real success in ripping out their existing infotainment unit and putting in a Chinese Alliexpress box. There is a recent thread on the Ateca side. Resetting the tyre pressure required VCDS coding since they had left out the where with all to do it. It has come up on the Leon 3 thread from time to time.

Quite a few people updated from mib1 to mib2. Some implementing mib2 high with the 3D building projection maps that add a touch. Basic setting of mib2 is to toggle between the flat view and the 3d view but not 3d projection view. Only the mib2 high did that one.

To make your screen a bit more exciting you toggle on the 3d projection. Then you have the auto zoom button... I'm sure you know that. Where people traditionally moan about the artifical clouds that appear in the screen at the top part with a what is this. That's your initial step on that screen. Bring some icons up and put in into 3d. Doesn't look so bad then. That's all in the manual.
