Auto dimming rear view mirror

Hi,

my car doesn';t have the convenience pack but I'd like to get the auto dim rear view mirror. Has anyone added this to their car? Big job?

i dont know but i expect it to be big expense rather than big job.
mine didnt work too well from new and was changed under warrenty. took a month to arrive.

I think there's some threads on it so worth doing a search. I know someone was asking recently about fitting one from a Golf.

The main issue is that you need to run a power source to it. I believe the sensors are integral to the unit rather than using the light sensors off the convenience pack (which is a slightly different windscreen).

I were also looking at getting this done, asked SEAT how much and the dealers didn't even know what I were on about lol!
