Don't they use the sun sensor has well, so that when the sun is low in the sky, like at winter time, this also effects when they come on.
Cool , well at least I know the issue can be resolved now.
Before I ask someone to adjust it, is the sensitivity setting on a scale i.e. 1 - 10? If so what would you recommend it being altered to? (sorry to ask so many questions).
Got to admit I pretty much drive around with my lights on anyway as I cant read the speedos unless they are backlit!

reading these two in conjunction should give you an idea but basically the correction percentage needs to be lower, and its not as easy as 1 - 10 unfortunately.
My auto xenons are on almost all the time too.
Ok so I'm quite handy with hex and I have VCDS. Where do I find the control module to adapt the values? I've looked everywhere and can't find anything that resembles light sensor or transparency.
My xenons don't come on all the time. Only when it gets reasonably dark or through a tunnel etc
Lucky you! Yours most have been set correctly, or altered at some point.
