Auto Locking doors when moving

I test drove a few Ibizas before finally finding the one the missus thought was a 'nice' colour. On one of the SE's the doors locked when you started moving, was this a optional extra from factory?

Built in feature. Once you go above 7mph I think.

I think SEAT have stopped enabling this feature on the lower models - pop into your local friendly stealers - they should be able to re-enable for you or you could see if there's someone on here near to you with VAG-COM

Thanks for that, ive found out a little about VAG com thing. So can somebody give me an idea of cost, also what do I need? Does the cable come with software for the laptop?

software is a free download, it the licence that costs the money. genuine cables come with a licence hence the price, ebay cables cheap and if you know where to look you can find cracked copies of vag com. be careful of usb cables as finding drivers that work can be a problem

Any good? I understand I can also set my windows to go up on the key remote using this software too? Very impressive if it does

Thats a serial cable (have you got a laptop with serial socket on?)

if not you need a usb one

windows up/down on the remote is a no go with vag-com, you need another bit ok kit for that provided your ibiza is the right year
