Auto-locking function

Hi, I have an Ibiza Formula Sport and was wondering if you can programme the car to lock the doors when over 10mph? Not sure if this came on this spec so i'm asking you guys!

Dont know if you can mate.. maybe through Vag-com? Ive read a good few threads and everything seems to be fixed through that lol.

Ive got it as standard on my FR.. quite cool tbh

Yeah they do and use it to check for faults.

Check if someone in your area have it 1st, they will usually do it for beer tokens.

Trying to think of people from down that way that attend the meets that have it. Scott i think has it.

Cheers for the help and quick reply. The reason i asked this is cos my car is going into dealer tomorrow to get some things fixed under warranty and i asked if they could enable this, not sure whether they will do this or not tho!

We don't use VAG COM at dealers normally. We have a few other machines, the main one these days being VAS 5051B

I have seen that machine when i was in the last time. I thought they still use vag-com for wee things here and there.

If you ask, im sure they will do it for you.

it was part of the deal when i picked up my car from bristol seat when i bought it turn that off! i hate auto locking! he tried to convince me to keep it - young lady on your own wants to be sure the doors are locked bless him! anyway they just did it with a few clicks! dunno how much they'd charge you to do it though

Problem solved! Managed to get it changed for free through the dealers!
