in the past we used to use multi channel remotes but then most cars didnt have central locking back then so was just an added option when upgrading anyway

Think you have to buy special struts
Ive got a Leon MK2, got the boot button in the centre but it doesn't open my boot as in pop open can i get it re programed ?

Once you POP you just can't stop

In regard of the Leon not popping the boot a little, it will need reprogramming. It only takes of the lock instead of pushing it out of the lock.
All I've read is that you need a couple of springs and the reprogramming. In the ibiza you just need the springs or stronger struts.

IBIZA doesn't pop the lock either mate so it will need programming too i think.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but did anyone figure this out for the Ibiza??

These are the parts for the Golf/Leon
2 x 6Y0 827 550 C (6Y0827550C) – Skoda Fabia gas struts
2 x 1K8 827 761 C (1K8827761C) – Scirocco bumpers
2 x 1J6 827 439 A ( 1J6827439A) – Strut ball pins

And VCDS: change Byte 2 Bit 3 in the Central Convenience Controller 46.
