B-Pillar Removal

Hello, did a quick seach with nothing coming up (tho im sure the search boffs will correct me!)

Anyway, basically need to strip out all the interior for my new head lining (Thanks Ant :p)

But, from looking at the B-pillar you take off the rear panel, unscrew two bolts and then it comes off, my question is how do you get it fuly out, aka seat belts are still in it etc?

Once everything is out, A/B/C pillars etc does the headlining just fall out or what?!

Thanks guys!

For the B piller cover U will need to unbolt the seat belt to completely extract it,,,,, but surely u'll only need it off temporaraly till the headliner is changed?

My B piller has an anoying rattle........sure its part of the seatbelt mechanism.

Yeah, this is what im thinking. I just need to open it up and take a look so to see if I can bodge it so it stops rattling.

If you want to just replace the headlining all you got to do is loosen off the pillars all round, i cannot remember how i did it but it was quite easy. When it came to the seat belt ones i just cut the seat belt but i dought you want to do that. The headlining was held in by the grab handles, sun visor and interior light. You will see a pair of little rubber bungs in the plastic oif these just flip them out then there are screws under that need to be undone.Be very careful not to crease the headlining.

Oh ya :p So basically if I take everything else out, aka grap handles, sun visor etc etc, then just undo the B-Pillar to loosen it up a little, then put new headlining in :D

Will need to take it off fully tho to fit cupra B-pillar at some point, but this should do the trick till then!

How easy is it to unbolt the seat belt etc etc?!
