when you fly into a corner all the oil serges to one side of the sump, potentially causing oil starvation ( which is bad)

A baffled sump prevents this happening.

In my opinion its not needed for road use.

Running an oil pressure gauge will give you an idea if you need one. Good to have anyway (Gauge) IMO.

I dont drive that hard on the road.

But if i were to go to a track then it would be a different story.



DPJ, agree with you, a gauge is a good way to monitor this.

on the road you shouldn't drive at such speed on the kind of corners that will cause this....

sticky tyres also have an effect on this - but judging by some of the video's you've posted, I don't think you're a sensible driver... so all bets are off.
