Just got a good deal and need some advice too

Through a mate of a mate heard he had got a crashed cupra that he was breaking
so popped along to have a look.

Loads of bits on it but went for the following

Cat back ss exhaust - oval
Frontmount intercooler
Boost guage and pod
upper strut brace

£150!!!

Now i have fitted the exhaust which sounds and fits much better dunno what make.

Wanting to fit the strut brace tomorrow, is it just a case of remove bolts pop it on and screw back on?

Also the front mount intercooler, will I need to cut anything out of the bumper? (will do a search on this whilst waiting replies)

strut brace is just undo the 6 top mount bolts put brace in place and do it back up ..

What type of intercooler is it? If its a ebay one there are loads of threads on installs, did it come with any pipework?

well just found a fitting guide for a universal one on here and it looks like that.

But I am a bit concerned if its damaged, is there anyway to test it?

It came with the pipes for both sides so bonus, seen as thou strut brace is easy to do thinking of intercooler tomorrow

Does it make a big difference?

Where can feed boost guage vac pipe from engine to get in the cabin

You can do it through the grommit next to the pedals, or through the scuttle panel.

i'm in but its not a nomad pod and slots in downside of dash

Worried it will crush the pipe

i use a plastic joiner between the dash and the piller so it dont get crushed. you need to undo the screw that holds the dash on the side . you will see a round cover its behind there..

thats my old mk3 ibiza all them bits came from,i sold it to a mate who wrote it off

i dont know what make that exhaust is but it does sound the dogs!!!!
