Well i figured its about time i start one of these :d.

Bought the car december 2007, 2nd owner.

Not the best body work, but nothing some heavy duty TLC cant sort out and for a 90k+ car now its pritty good.

Mods so far:
LCR Splitter
312 Cupra brakes
PD 160 induction + Green cotton filter
Mufflerectomy

I am happy (most of the time) with the performance, so i think next mods are to be 20mm rear spacers and lowering alround, as frankly its sat way to high!!

So anyone want to offer me s/h parts feel free (wont be able to for the next few weeks however).

i do on average about 200 a week, previous owner clocked up 82k .

plans are if turbo goes either pd150 turbo or a hybrid, otherwise turbo upgrades for next years insurance. would add about 500 to my premium to get past 200bhp lol.

looks first now, and maybe a tuning box until everything is ready for remapping depends how badly i want more power ha.

will be spending some money on meguiars equipment to get my car in tip top condition as frankly its bad .

Didnt get a photo, but took my front wheels off sunday and gave them a proper clean... and well now my bush housings are silver and the lower intercooler pipe looks silver it was black before haha.

Wow - i forgot how clean my car used to be.

Exhaust doesnt sound to bad, wouldnt want to stand behind when hitting about 2.5revs though..

Yeah shes always been a bit of a smoker sinse i got my exhaust fitted, starting her up in the morning is fun ahah, nice puff of smoke. Its all good, i dont notice it when i drive and im sure its no competition for others .

Just tried a full bottle of REDX crap (over 3 fuel stops) see if it helps, but performance / smoke wise im not bothered.

The exhaust sounds good, looks almost identical to the one that I had.

As for the smoke, that looks normal to me.

Can I just explain the smoke....which is actually very little anyway

You will notice when on boost the smoke clears.... on the dyno you are loading the engine in 4th gear from 1000rpm....this is not done when driving on the road.

When on the road the car will have no more/minimal smoke than stock

Got my jabba rear ARB & 20mm rear spacers yesterday.

Fitted them this morning, i can honestly say that the handling is amazing .

Car isnt even lowered and it is improved drematically.

On icey wet roundabouts, there isnt a great deal of difference but thats understandable.

Go round a sharp dry corner and the car just GRIPS to the road and goes round perfectly without any understeer .

Best buy for my car yet id say, as it was cost effective. Result

Is it the rear ARB mate? Heard it makes a big difference.
