wouldn't make any difference if you buy the most expensive available, so just buy what's recommended. NGK, Bosch are fine.

I'm afraid that is just a load of sales tosh, you see those sorts of benefits from just going from used plugs to new plugs (well, except for the 0.7 seconds gain, I have no idea where they got that rubbish from!). Just go for standard, and you'll get the better running, better cold starting, etc. The long life is also a bit pointless, as you should still change them according to the service intervals!

stick with the original NGK copper ones. Best spark and just change them with the oil every year and you cant get anywhere any faster 
sorry to say that but it's like those fancy direct filters or remaps or anything that are offered for a non-turbo car: don't bother you will not have any performance gain.
OK there are reviews who say yeah my car feels lively, pulls from lower revs etc but these are purely "feelings" never backed up by data.
you can buy these plugs, you can also buy expensive uber-fancy ignition wires, sport direct air filters, can do a remap, polish your manifold, buy a modified camshaft, whatever said to raise BHP but you will end up getting 10% more with a money from what you easily could afford a Cupra.

Who said I couldnt afford a cupra now, the fact is the insurance companies want serious money. THAT's why I dont drive a CUPRA mate. I know its sickening

I don't think he was commenting on your financial situation, just that to get any performance gains from the 1.6 NA engine would take stupid money for not a lot of gain, so no point anyone trying to.
ye i know mate, Iv taken that point on board a long time ago. The reason I starter this thread is because I dont my oil change 400miles ago and didnt do my spark plugs, and my car i s starting bad so I thought that changing the sparkies would be a good thing to do anyway. hence why I wanted to know the best spark i should get for my car, if iridium are the best il get those but it the standard one the best il get those if they both the same then i will get the cheaper. I wasn't actually looking for a spark plug to make my car faster 0-60 or anything lol
The standard ones are best for the 1.6 as the Iridium ones cost lots more and do nothing more for your engine.
