Fitted Brodit Iphone Mount n Cradle today & Lightning Connector hardwired as such into Cradle & ran Cable into Glovebox so it looks neat.
Whats the best way of getting a USB Charger adaptor fed off ignition in there?
I currently use a 2amp Belkin Type via Accesory Socket under armrest but I don't want the cables running back there & in any case it switches off when you stop the engine,
I wasn't it powered until I pull the keys out.

Had thought about getting a feed off the rear of the radio if nothing else ?

or is there an easier way?

Using these.... & V good Cables & Chargers...

or

Also I just solder the power cables to the metal points on these Belkin Adaptors which is faf neater than having them plugged into a skt all the time. which can move & make or break the connections

Easiest way would be to look into getting a piggy back fuse connector, wiring that onto your charging lead and plug in straight into an ignition fed fuse in the fuse box. Easy to find with a test light/meter. You can then put a 2 amp fuse into the piggy back which will protect you charging wire. Try to chose a higher rated fuse, say 15/20 amp as you will also be drawing the charge lead through that fuse. Then just find an earth to connect which shouldn't be too hard around that area.
Sorry I can't post a link but just type piggy back fuse into eBay and you will see. You will probably need the micro fuse type.
