I go onto the first engine module. If I remember correctly after I scan the section there is a groups box. Click that and there should be lots of small boxes after clicking that. Scroll through the up and down arrows on the left hand side. It tells you underneath the box what each one is monitoring.

During my drive home the boost was no higher then 0.5bar (8psi)! No error light, no errors in VAGCOM. I could hear the turbo thanks to the P-flo but boost was minimal. worst drive i had in ages! :(

Hi, are you still boosting only 8psi? have you piped the n75 valve up correctly? if its wrong then it will only boost on actuator pressure 7-8psi, this was my problem just switched the pipes round and it fixed my boost!

Mine boosts to 8psi too. When I clear the codes I get my 22 psi back. After 10 or so miles it feels sluggish and restricts it to 8. If I leave it another 40 miles it will do the 50 mile fault check. This is when my eml comes on and boost is then restricted to 4 psi.

No this morning the boost was back at 1.1bar (16psi). Did receive the MAF error again.

The N75 should should be piped correctly. I only changed it once. It could try and see what happens if is switch the 2 pipes. But shouldn't the boost be at 8psi all the time if it is connected the wrong way??

That's even worse then my boost level. What errors do you see when it is in this mode??

Yea it should be 8psi all the time no matter what and bring up lambda error codes (Took me 3 months to solve it lol), so i suppose yours is fine, havent a clue what your problem is then maybe faulty ecu?

I hope not. i allready contacted the tuner a couple of weeks ago and he explained that a faulty ecu usually causes more problems and errors. but if i cant find any other leaks or bad wires ill ask him to look at it.

Update Saterday:

* Did another boostleak test but didnot discover any leaks.

* Checked the MAF wires but look ok.

* Replaced the hose from the chargepipe to the N75. Ordered some universal silicon hoses a while ago but never fitted it.

* Also replaced my turbogauge hose because it was fitted passing the turbo! Rerouted and replaced it with the Forge 4mm vacuum hose.

* Cleaned my throttle body and replaced the gasket. Very ease job. Forgot to make a before pic. This Nulon stuff cleaned it out in 15 minutes! Calibrated the TB with VAGCOM.

Went for another testdrive to see if any of this had a psoiive result. And it did!! :funk:

It's even boosting way to much! The boost just slams past the 1.5bar (22psi). I think the wastegaste hast to be adjusted for this. But the car feels faster. Alot of torque and is very aggresive again!

Just donno if it permanent as it did this also the first day my turbo and manifold were replaced.

For now i'm happy and hope that this drama is solved. Will keep you updated....

Update Sunday:

Driving in the rain today. Car still handles like a beast. Also still no errors. Hope it stays this way.

Forget to mention that yesterday i also replaced the hose splitter that was fitted when my boostgauge was mounted. This new one is 1mm bigger then the old one. Also removed my Hyperboost DV and refitted my forge DV after servicing.

Update Monday (morning):

Unfortunately this morning during my drive to work I received the same 2 errors again! :(

16487 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Signal too High
P0103 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17963 - Charge Pressure: Maximum Limit Exceeded
P1555 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

Seeing how high the boost is at the moment, it kinda logic that its giving me the 2nd error. The boost is way to high as it passes the 1.5bar (22psi). Just dont understand why the MAF is complaining.

I’ll try and adjust the wastegate (later this week) to see if I can lower the boost.

Feels like I’m close to solving this….

When you check the maf wires have a good look at the connector as i am positive i have read about the plug becoming brittle and the pins get loose in the plastic connector causing a P0103 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent fault

Checked but it looks ok. Did'not know this was a seperate error, because VAGCOM counts it as 1 with the 16487 error.

Today we're going to adjust the wg-actuator to reduse the boost a little. Hope it helps. Also going to install a new dogmount (ECS) and going to replace my Denso plugs and try the Bosch i bought from Awesome.

Fault code 16804

Hi

I was wondering if anyone could help me to clear this fault code once and for all, i understand that its somthing to do with the lamdas? it says bank1 so ive replayced the one on the down pipe, but do i need to replace the one on the cat. Ive got 200 cell sports cat fitted?

thanks for your help guys.
Tim

I finally cured mine. Was a vac leak in the pipes under the inlet Mani. Also had one on the s pipe on the side of the mani(which inwouldnt have found with my air leak tester, had to use a smoke one.
