if youre rears sit out further then they must be out of the arch. the pic doesnt show it properly but form a rear view the wheel is actually upto 5mm out of the arch but the tyre is in the arch.

any further out at the rear would be illegal.

you can see compared to the front one how much more the wheel is sticking out.

maybe one day we will be at a show and we can compare.

Yes i have got coilovers fitted mate.Ill be at a few shows this year too, what size tyres you fitted the same as mine? I suppose the angle of the photo does not really show it really.Ill try sorting some better photos out and send them too you.My wheels are just about level i suppose give or take a few mm.Its confused the hell out of me i have the exact spacers fitted on the front

mine wont look the same as youres as ive only got some lowering springs for the time being.

Ill take a pic direct from the rear but they are definately as far out the arch thats allowed. any more and the tyre would be out of the arch.

the back is perfect for me just not low enough at the moment.

Thats the thing with coilovers i can take it up and down as i like within reason as not to mess the geometry up to much.Show seasons arrived so itll be sat on its arse for the next six months.Id advise a four wheel allignment when you have fitted the new wheels it sent mine out alot.

the rim bit is blocked off after the ET, they are copies afterall but the dealer i bought them from advertised them as ET35.

I would be bringing these straight back to the dealer, if the ET isn't even printed on them what else could poorly made.I won't let these near my car.
I know you are probably eager and excited to get them on your car, but give the guy a call he may be able to do something for you and you will be happier in the long run.

This is what i was thinking about it all.Mine are the same style rim but silver and they came from these guys so why has bobby had so much trouble? I personally think 15mm spacers on the front is extreme.

Bobby's wheels will probably rub the arch, what width are the wheels Swoosh?

Think mine are 8's not 100% sure though.Theres no difference in hub width or anything between 210's and 225's are there.It may sound daft but just throwing in ideas why he is having so much trouble.And 15mm spacers will it not overload the wheel bearings more.

Well these wheels could be Et10.42222 for all we know, but if the wheels are 8 width with 15mm spacers, totaly will be about 8.6inch you will 100% get rubbing on the arches.
I have 8.5inch width wheel with a 3mm spacer and had to put a stretch on the tyre to get it in under the arch, i still get rubbing but not extreme.

Guess he is just going to have to try and see.Thats the thing with mine never had any arch rubbing just the front splitter hitting the deck under hard braking.

they are 8 width. I think we must have got to the point of them not being et35 even though they was advertised as.

there are loads of people on here with 15mm spacers all round so im not worried about that. there is obviously something different between mine and swooshes wheels even though they are the same wheel from the same supplier.

looking at the wheels they are very good quality and they look to me very well made, the fact that the et is not stamped does not bother me for the money they cost, they are a 1/3rd of the price of the real ones so something has to be sacrificed, and im not someone that wants something for nothing.

to me it does not look like its going to rub as its not bringing it out enough which is whats making me think they are not ET35.

the one thing that puzzles me though is that in the pics of swooshes car his rear wheel looks out of the arch about the same as mine does in the flesh and we have the same spacers which would lead me to beleive the offset is the same.


unless the silver version you have and the black version i have have different rear spoke design.

either that or a past owner has put the wrong brake disks on my car or something, they are very flat.

anyway im not bothered too much as said they are a cost effective wheel and i like the way they look, 15mm spacers are not going to do any more damage to the wheelbearing than the incorrect offset of wheel would anyway.
