I think the nice sunny days are bringing out the car enthusiast in me again. Just been and polished it a second time and ordered some wax off the internet.

Its in for a full service in three weeks too.

Probably the most loved Mk2 Ibiza in the world.............

Yep but I feel abit out of place amongst all you gti and valver owners.

in all honesty, it doesn't matter, i was contemplating selling mine and getting a smaller engined one (as insurance is trying to rape me lol)

who cares about bigger engines, i hardly drive fast, as i can't afford the petrol, you probably are going faster then me to more places lol

I got a 1.4 and a 2.0 matey and the 1.4 gets driven faster more because its better on fuel for short runs. The GTi is good for going to work in because of the torque and its economical over the long distance, but for quick local A-B blasts i always use the 1.4.

Thats the thing, it isnt costing me that much on insurance, even living in my high-ish risk post-code and with all my mods declared. I can also have and A-B road blast with a very heavy right foot and still get good fuel economy out of it. And well I need my car to get around my area as public transport is useless and pretty much non-existant and I have to do a 40 mile trip round trip to work (20 there and 20 home). And Im very rarely on motorways or dual carriageways. The closest of those is like 40-60 miles away.

I think I might just do that mate. Think Im going to get it into the bodyshop in the next few months and get a few bits done. Then get a new set of seats, either mk2 1.4/mk3 1.6 sport seats or gti or half leather.

Thanks for the inspiration and for convincing me to keep it. :D
