Black Roof ...

i am thinking of getting my car roof sprayed black, how ever i woulld like some of your input as to what you think about it, good idea or bad idea?

It'll probably be cheaper to get it vinyl wrapped and it won't affect the resale value as you can take it off when you sell it or change your mind.

A lot of people would go for a vinyl dude (like myself) its all down to the re-sale and whether your actually gonna like it!!

i priced up a vinyl wrap and it was about 300pound, and to get it sprayed was about the 180 mark.

yeah mate i know what you mean, just it come across cheeper to get it sprayed.

You know a sprayer then? Cost me £50 for my roof and there was enough for two goes at it.

So find a mate, and itl cost you about £25?

i was just going to get seat to do it, failing that then ill have to look for a garage who do bodywork repairs. you payed 50pound for a wrap did you say?

I did it myself yeh, did the roof and spoiler on my leon.

£50ish for the vinyl delivered.

from what i can seen in your pic a black roof would look sweet on your car,either way you get it done,
