Black wheels on a Silver Leon

Hi everyone,

Im sure this has been asked before, but has anyone got pictures of an artic silver leon on black rims, considering getting my LCR ones powder coated? Just want to see how many have done this?

I do like the anthracite too, but i just thought the black is that bit more a contrast., especially after seein DamoR's wheels, very nice. plus can get it do cheap!,
Please if anyone can help with a picture or a photoshop of one?

I did put up a request for a photshop to find out a while back, as i'm thinkin about getting it done with mine (also flash red). got no reply though so heres my ms paint quick effort lol gives you a rough idea anyway;

It's really hard to capture black wheels in photos, but I still think those pictures look superb! Still very fond of DamoR's wheels too

My missus thinks black/dark grey wheels look dirty, but I think they look the business but only really on light coloured cars. I much prefer matt to gloss black. the_prophet's flash red MS Paint effort looks good too. Better than i thought they would look on a red car.

the_prophet where is that pic from? Is it your car? Looks like the place I bought my LCR from in Sussex - Churchs.

Would look good on an ovni too. Saw a yellow S3 with black wheels and tints last night it looked lurvly

Two of my wheels could do with a touch up, so a colour change isn't totally out of the question in the future

Yeah, I was happy with them. Nice couple of blokes and a good selection of cars. Would go back to them in the future. You didn't happen to see a black 306 lying around did you? My old car. Was on their website for a while. Aaaah, happy days. Not as happy as now though!!

Back to black wheels - I used to see an S3 regularly around S / SW London area. It was kind of electric blue or royal blue with tints and matching black RS4 multi-spoke (9 spokes or so?) black alloys. Really looked good.

Yeh think i can remember seeing it on the website as i was keeping an eye on my car, see how much they made on it in the end. But i'd probably go back, was just bit of a distance to travel for me from Bristol lol.

Theres a fair few yellow ibiza cupras on here with black wheels which i think look spot on, definatley suits some colours more than others.

I like it coz its not totally Black, yet Dark and metalic.
