can someone tell me please when i put key in ignition in my car seat ibiza it makes a bleeping sound after the car as started there are no flashing lights only does it when you start car but not all the time hope that makes sence

Does the outside temp gauge work correctly? As it will beep if the temp is less than 4oC

Is it just one beep or the three beeps on startup?

It has been suggested on here that this could be down to brake fluid level being low, likely due to low break wear or possibly a faulty sensor that reports the brake fluid. But in those cases the handbrake light is said to flash (if the handbrake is off).

Try searching for three beeps on startup and it will return a series of posts that may be useful.

I get the three beeps very very occasionally, to the point where it doesn't bother me but I know my brakes need replacing, discs and pads on the front but I am hoping to sort that before the week is out. So fingers crossed that will be the end of it for me!?

Do any of the ibizas have brake pad warnings?

Low temp, low fuel, doors open, lights on with door open...
I wanna find that speaker and rip it out lol.

when you start the car does a 'spanner' icon appear on your milage counter? If the car is due a service it would start flashing when the car beeps then stay there. If its not that it could be anything lol
