ok riight been starting trying to diagnos the fault codes on my audi s3 , one code i figured i could solve straight away , was maf signal too low , unplugged the maf to check if any differences no difference , just taught i'd check the forge dv and perform the leak test , and it failed piston slowly went down when my finger was over the vacuum nipple, which would indicate it's not holding boost so i'm guessing thats why i'm getting low maf readings ?

Sounds more like a wiring fault to/ with the MAF
MAF uses 0-5v signals so sounds as though there is nothing being received
The leaking valve obviously requires resealing anyway

Have you serviced it? before the R1 I was finding the forge starting sticking after 8 months, I put it down to heat but reckon they need a thorough service every 7-8 months to keep them 100%.

I have just bought a 007 to replace my dv30 and I think it was a waste of money.the dv30 is better to be honest.

You could try the new DV008, I've had one since early January, never needed serviced yet. My previous 007 was about 8 months before it started sticking and needed serviced, as Pat says.

just service it mate, get some seals and grease and it will be fine. i have some seals that I use on my dump valves that I anodise and sell on. get it up to me and ill service it for ya, just cover the special delivery cost back to yourself.

Same here, I'm tired of servicing my dv007p every 5k or so, it stuck the other week while I was on a 5th gear power run and let off the throttle, the dv failed to divert and I was left with a blown hose off the charge pipe :-(

What DV's are out there that don't need so much serving though?
