blowers are too weak!

Im havin trouble with the blowers on my Ibiza Fr tdi. i got this car a couple of months ago and the blowers have never been very strong. i looked up a post and some1 had advised pulling the pollen filter out and gettinng rid of leaves and anything else there.

just back in from doing it and it doesnt seem to have helped. when the fans are up full you can here the air in behind the glove box but there isnt much strength at the vents

any help would be brill

I reckon the air ducting tubes from the blower motor to the vents have come loose/separated.

My brother had an 02 reg 130 sport with the same problem and this was the fault

Something's come loose. Ive got no hissing noise on mine

Turning on the recirc increases the power a little bit.

thanks for the replies folks - il get a new pollen filter sorted asap cause the 1 thats in needs changed.

Remove the glove box and stereo, select dash vents then close all the dash vents. Get your hands behind the dash and feel for air blowing with the fan on full. there should be no air blowing behind the dash really.
