BlueFlame DP - To wrap or not?

I will get my new BlueFlame TBE system fitted very soon.
I therefore bought black DEI wrap 5cmx15Meters(way to long, but that what I could get).

But now I have second thoughts about wrapping it! Mostly due to craking, I know this shouldnt happen, but I guess its more likely to happen wrapped? Sooo?

Seen from another perspective, the stock DP has and outer "shim" to prevent heat in the bay... so I might be the wise to do it anyway?

Im gona heatwrap my dp to try and reduce temps under the bonnet, shouldent crack really mainly manifolds on these that crack due to the heat, the sheild imo is cack and doesnt do much in the way of heat defence.

I'm mainly worried about it should crack at the welds, and with the wrap on, It's harder to notice afterwards (
