Hi, I have asked this in the bluetooth compatibility thread but its not really a compatibility question, so started a new thread, here goes...

When using a mobile that isn't phonebook compatible is it possible to enter your whole phonebook in using the stalk controls? If its possible I'm guessing that the only downside would be that it would take you forever?

Also how many voice activated entries can you have, and when you make a call using the voice activation does it display the name and number on the MFD?

Sorry for the number of questions but if anyone who hasn't got a phonebook compatible phone could explain how they manage to use the bluetooth, I would be most most grateful.

Thanks,

Steve

You can manually enter numbers in via the voice control. As long as the bluetooth can see the phone & start/stop dialing that will work.

I am not sure of the limit of entries, best check the communications manual that came with the car.

Voice activation will show the name and number :)
