There is a whole thread on what phones work well and any issue, but ive had none so far.... Had a though, the guys that say the unit is rubbsh and people cant hear them, have you tried using the voice dialling, if that is poor too then almost certainly a microphone issue???
I find the voice dialling like my missus, she understands fine unless you talk too quick.....

What phones work best with the Leon Bluetooth system. I have a Leon FR with new Sat Nav system on the way, and my contract is due for renewal soon with my phone - just wanted to make sure I minimised any potential problems I may have.

There is a list of compatable phones on the Seat website. Generally, SONY ERRICSON seems to be the best bet if looking for a compatable phone. I have the w810i and it works perfectly.

I turned down the volume of the phone and microphone by accident using the steering wheel controls when the MFD was in phone mode. When in any other menu on MFD, it reverts back to radio / cd control. I really can't fault the system. It even understands my Scottish accent!!! (no mean feat)

Just to let you know i have eliminated it being the microphone in the car. I spoke to her at 80mph and she understood everything i had to say.

I am now going to try changing my phone, fingers crossed it will be better, will keep you informed....

press 'prog' on the head unit 5 times ('tvol' [telephone volume] will be displayed)

turn the volume knob to the desired level for the telephone conversation only.
