After reading around, searching etc.. i am still really confused..

Could someone please help me out, with what bodykits are on which cars?

Pics would be wonderful...

I dono if people didnt understand.. but is there 4 different versions of the kit?

The original one.. then there is the Lean Cupra one.. then the Cupra R.. then the new R one.. which is also FR+

Am i correct?

I thought the FR+ was supposed to be the same as the cupra r?

So oringal, cupra, cupra R (fr) new cupra R (fr+)

????

Wow, i am still confused?

cupra FR was a cupra but with the R bodykit..... but then a cupra r?

So the FR DOES have the same bodykit as the latest cupra r?

This is not an exhaustive list but, the original Leon sans bodykit was launched in the UK about 2000, bodykit added to Cupra version for 2003 model year, which was kept for the FR when it replaced the cupra (titanium mirrors added plus different wheels and some interior changes).
Cupra R launched somewhere around 2002, continued largely unchanged (visually) until production ended last year.
End of line FR models (late 2005, or FR+ as they seem to have been dubbed) featured all sorts of odds and ends. The 1.8T got Cupra R 17'' alloys but kept the old Cupra style bodykit. The Diesel model gained the full R bodykit and 17'' Cupra R wheels, plus revised rear badging. In the change over period before the LCR add ons there seem to be all sorts of specs where SEAT were probably clearing the decks of parts before they changed all the tooling and orders from their outside suppiers.

From memory the 'Cupra' bodykit first appeared in non UK markets on the 2.8 V6 Leon Cupra4 just to add to your confusion.

In terms of looks:

std leon and old cupra (before 2002) look the same - thats the the small bumpers look.

the 2002 cupra was given the deeper bumpers and the FR is the same as this.

The Cupra R has also deep bumpers, but a different look to them, the version with the splitter on the bottom of the front bumper. The FR+ was the same as this.

mine is a late Cupra (same as FR) in my signature.

So there are 3 looks in total. But alot of people do mix and match - like me - i have the late cupra/fr car but with cupra R splitter on front bumper and Cupra R wheels.
