I think i know the answer....

There are two bolts on the bonnet. You've probably got it on the wrong one. So it doesn't create the right angle to close it.

You need to undo the top bolt and put it on the other.

Hope that makes sense. Then it will close. ;)

so you've got them on the top hinge bolt, and the bolt 400mm away from the top bolt on the wing?

i just followed the german instructions and got the jist of it, also forbez's photo ;)

The bonnet doesnt go all the way up as expected, but its much better than knocking the stay and waiting for the crash.

i would suggest the same, if its any help, on the box i have: 40006 ona white label.

although i do think they could have found a better looking girlie for the box!

lol still not done?!? shocking!
i cant understand why it wont shut?

as said earlier...most of the kits just have different bolts, the lifters are the same length for most so if the bolts are in its the right kit!

come to pod on the 6th of Nov we can fix em!

silly question but you did use the washer didnt you? and they are fully threaded in?

i don't quite get how they are'nt working mate lol!

so you cant even get yours to clip in the ends ?

forbez, the rubber bits i had, they were put inside the top of the bonnet to seal the wiring that goes through to the ECU, it needs removing as it fouls on the lifter.

any chance of a close up of your hinge joint?

Yeh i did use the washer lol yeh i can get them to clip in, check out my pics at the beginning of the thread, just the bonnet just wont shut,as its hitting the wing bit where the bolts are, well i can get it to shut ( by forcing it) just the bonnet doesnt fit flush..
